I love the month of April! Spring has officially arrived, everything is coming alive and most importantly the semester is coming close to an end! This year April has been nothing but chaos! It hasn't been horrific or anything like that, just things came up that I never expected.
For school...I actually decided to go to the library to study! shocking! Normally I do fine at home but I just can't seem to focus or when I finally do get in the zone I get interrupted. In the course of week I believe I spent a total of 48 hours in that library.....It was worth it in the end.
There was this exam I had to take it's called scenario which is the test to get into the interior design program. My original plan was to take it last year but my GPA was too low. I knew Interior Design was what I wanted to do and most importantly felt like where God was leading me. So I waited another year and started a business minor. On April 17 I went in and it was complete silence. There was a total of 70 people taking the exam which consists of an essay, a still life drawing and a concept square which is an abstract design to a space you are developing. I wasn't nervous, but ready for it to be over. I came out of it feeling content with everything I did but knew I messed up with my concept square. It was all in the Lord's hands.
A week later came, I didn't even think about the exam. During that week I turned 20! Not that big but at least I'm not a teenager anymore. I had a lot fun, going out to Red Robin, Spending time with the family at Carabbas and going over to have Dinner with one my most favorite families, the Bebbers. Three nights in a row there was really no time to think about the exam and why should I? what happens.....well happens.
This past week my roommates and I lost our one and only mail key. It was so frustrating but I found some humor in it as well. I saw it on the table Tuesday night but then the next day it vanished and no one knew where it went. My guess it got thrown away. But I knew my letter was coming by Friday to tell me yes or no to interior design and I was desperate to find that mail key. I looked everywhere and in places that were absolutely disgusting. I dug through the trash which by the way is GROSS!! but no luck. So Friday the day I knew the letter was coming I went to the post office to get a new lock and keys but even by doing that we couldn't check the mail until Monday. On the way home I caught the mailman at another mailbox and stopped and asked if she wouldn't mind going back to our mailbox so I could retrieve our mail. At first she said she wasn't aloud to do that but I explained the situation and was desperate and by a miracle she got it for me. Woohoo!!
The letter was there.... I went upstairs where both my roommates were sleeping and woke Senite up and told her it came. She literally grabbed it from my hands because she knew I didn't have the guts to open it and it said...CONGRATULTIONS on your acceptance.... I got into the program! PRAISE GOD! I screamed so loud...actually I never knew I could even go that loud...But I was so Stoked! It made my day!
So I can officially say I'm an studying Interior Design!
With one more week left to April, I must say with the crazinss this month brought it was all worth it in the end!

Oh....Zealand
Soo... in our household we have a puppy...along with an old fart by whom we call ozzie. But the puppy would be Zealand. He is not a year old yet but we feel that he has come to form some kind of mental problem with his brain. I'm not sure if he was born with it or if it happened after me dropping roughly 3 times on concrete when we first got him.
I didn't mean to drop him he was squirmy and I didn't have a good grip. But anywho....He runs around the house like a maniac who is uncontrollable...He doesn't listen but yet knows he is in trouble. basically this boy is all REBELLION...lawless pup. And the worst is...he's not fully potty trained.
Funny story... The other night I was trying to teach Zealand to rollover...he was doing it except with me constantly pushing him to rollover...and was being quite hardcore and rough about it. After a good 15 minutes of doing that he was over it and so was I...I had no more patience. I get up to go to walk to the bathroom and as I'm walking I'm stepping in wet spots...It didn't matter where I stepped, it was wet. I was basically questioning it and talking to my roommate Senite and she was like smell it. Digusting is what was going through my head but I went and grabbed toilet paper and sure enough the wetness was good ol yellow...which meant everywhere in our room he sprayed his pee as we were playing rollover! Stupid Dog!!!!
Zealand adds a new life to our house, mostly chaotic but he's fun to be around and knows how to brighten your day. Most of the time I do just want to kick some common sense into that boy!
